Welcome to the page of the Circle of Doom
On this page you will find the following information:
Once upon a time, a meteor crashed onto a world called Kuandis, in the area called the Firetop Mountains. The Firetop Mountains were once a beautiful place bursting with life and joy, but, after the fall of the meteor, everything became different. Life disappeared and Darkness began to rule.
Only one person survived the shock, a miner's daughter named Lillith. Surrounded by chaos and destruction, Lillith decided to leave the mountain range and seek shelter in the nearby forest, called the Forest of Doom.
Having reached the
forest, she met another living creature ... and she started to have a craving
and a need ... a need for BLOOD. Lillith then realised she was turning
into a vampire!
Although she was very distressed by this, the probable effect of having lived in the doomed Firetop Mountains, Lillith had no choice but to learn to live with this craving for blood.
Upon a day, while Lillith was swimming in the lake at the center of the forest of Doom, a god, called Nido, happened to pass by. Impressed by her beauty, Nido decided to speak to her. Nido fell in love with Lillith, and decided to leave the sacred land of the Gods to live with Lillith. Together, they had a son, called Kelnor.
On a day, Lillith asked Nido, who was the god of all living creatures, whether he could cure her of her terrible affliction. Nido could not do this by himself and thus he returned to the sacred land of the Gods to seek help from the other gods of Kuandis. What Nido had forgotten was that no god is allowed to leave the sacred land of the Gods without the permission of Yarek, god of all Gods. Upon Nido's return, Yarek arrested him for his crime and ordered Lillith to be put to death for having led Nido astray.
Their son Kelnor, who
thus was left on his own, was found by a warrior priest, who took pity
of the boy and adopted him. Kelnor began to study with the priest, gaining
both combat and magic skills, until after many years, the priest died,
leaving Kelnor on his own again. Kelnor continued to practise his skills,
until one day, he started feeling the same craving for blood as his mother
before him ...
On a day, a traveller from a distant land asked for shelter in Kelnor's home. During the night, Kelnor had the need for Blood, and the traveller became his victim. After a few days, the traveller developed the same urge for blood ... and Kelnor realised he could make people like him, craving for blood.
He thus realised that he had a way to assemble people to help him in his life's quest, avenging his mother's death. He decided that the best way to do this was to form a clan, whose members would all have the craving for blood in common. He decided to name his clan after his home forest, shaped like a circle. And thus The Circle of Doom was created.
To expand the power of the clan in order to be able to fight the gods of Kuandis, Kelnor realised he would need to search for help in all known worlds. To do this, he sent two emissaries to each of the worlds known to him. These emissaries were charged with gathering knowledge and power until the clan would be powerful enough to challenge and defeat the gods of Kuandis.
One of the worlds known
to Kelnow was the world of Diamond to which Kelnor sent Griffin, Master
of the Earth and the Skies and Joe, the Lord of the Elements.
In order to help, guide and protect his emissaries, Kelnor also pleaded
with the gods of the worlds to which he sent his emissaries. On the world
of Diamond, Zephyr listened to the story of Kelnor and agreed to
become the Guardian and Mentor of the Circle of Doom, as he felt the injustice
that had been committed against Nido, Lillith and Kelnor. And thus The
Circle of Doom came to the world of Diamond.
And now a couple of years later, One of the members of the Circle of Doom has reached Immortality and took over the task that Zephyr had. Nowadays the Godess Alice is the Mentrix of the clan.
The ultimate goal of the Circle of Doom is to avenge the death of Lillith and the incarceration of Nido on the world of Kuandis. To achieve this, the Circle will gathe forces from all known worlds in order to join Kelnor and defeat Yarek and the other gods of the world of Kuandis.
